Alex is daaraan gewoond dat mans haar skeef aankyk wanneer sy as projekbestuurder van ‘n plek in aanbou instap. Dit is immers nog manswêreld.
Maar hierdie knorpot wat haar inwag by die nuwe projek is heelwat erger as wat sy al ooit teëgekom het. Haar enigste verweer is om uiters onprofessioneel en op die mees blatante manier met hom te flankeer. En dis nie baie moeilik nie, want sy het ook lanklaas so ‘n aantreklike wese gesien. Wat wel moeilik is, is die feit dat hy meen sy is “moedswillig en lastig”.
Maar iewers agter daardie masker van ongeduld en ergernis bespeur sy soms droefheid en onsekerheid in sy mooi oë.

Worn – Book shows severe wear and tear while still being intact (commonly known as a “reading copy”). Worn books are still good perfect for a good read, all pages will be intact with none threatening to fall out.
