Jana is doodbang vir verhoudings en rig hemelhoë skanse tussen haar en Ruan op, al steur hy hom min daaraan. Hy liefkoos haar en gesels met haar en sy weet dat sy eintlik van sy toenadering hou.
Toe sy dit wel regkry om hom finaal weg te stuur, is sy sielsongelukkig. Die feit dat haar pa toe nie die skurk was wat sy gedink het nie, gee haar nuwe perspektiewe op die lewe en die liefde, maar sal sy ooit weer die kloof tussen haar en Ruan kan oorbrug?
