Isabella Santarelli keer uit Italië terug na haar geboorteland, Suid-Afrika, om haar pa op sy Vrystaatse plaas by te staan nadat hy sy been gebreek het. Sy het haar internasionale modelloopbaan laat vaar en droom daarvan om ‘n opleidingskamp vir saalperdruiters op hul plaas te begin.
Haar pa betrek die hulp van die buurplaas se eienaar, Nicholas Burger. Maar dié veearts en renperdteler is nie bly oor die ongewenste media-aandag wat Isabella na die gebied gaan lok nie.
Al stamp hulle koppe, kan die vuurwarm Nicholas tog nie sy oë én hande van Isabella afhou nie. En sy vaar nie veel beter nie, want Nicholas se ruwe manlikheid is darem net té aanloklik.
Isabella wonder nog of hul gevoelens dieper as fisieke aantrekking gaan, toe steelfotograwe hul lewe begin versuur…
