Martlie haat haar werk, maar sy sal enigiets doen om te verseker dat haar sussie die geleenthede kry wat syself nooit gehad het nie. Al is dit om papegaaiwerk te doen. Dit help natuurlik ook nie dat sy lyk en voel soos ’n lawwe, veelkleurige parkiet tussen ’n klomp stemmige African Greys nie. Sy sou veel eerder heeldag heerlike geregte in ’n spogkombuis optower, maar sy is al so gewoond daaraan om tweede viool te speel dat dit haar eintlik nie meer pla nie.
Haar kwaai baas, Jaco, is egter iemand om mee rekening te hou. Hy is onvriendelik, ongeduldig en ongelooflik aantreklik. Sy kan nie eens meer haar vervelige werk in vrede doen nie!

Worn – Book shows severe wear and tear while still being intact (commonly known as a “reading copy”). Worn books are still good perfect for a good read, all pages will be intact with none threatening to fall out.
