Victoria Vermaak se ouers nooi haar saam op ‘n luukse bootreis om te herstel ná sy in ‘n motorongeluk betrokke was. Haar lewenslustige vriendin Belle, wat saamreis, het egter nie net herstel in gedagte nie: Sy het die bootrit na die MVV – die manvangvaart – herdoop en is vasberade dat sy en Victoria voor die einde van die vakansie elk ‘n nuwe manlike bewonderaar moet hê. Op die boot loop Victoria vir Bartho Krüger raak, die sakeman wat sy die aand van die motorongeluk ontmoet het. Hy herstel ook op die vaart ná ‘n ski-ongeluk hom tydelik aan ‘n rolstoel gekluister het. Hoewel die kisserhede van hul eerste ontmoeting vaag is, onthou Victoria dat hy vir haar presies gelyk het soos sy haar droomman voorstel. Is Bartho werklik als waaroor Victoria nog altyd droom? Is dit net sy afhanklikheid van die rolstoel wat hom so nukkerig maak? Wat van sy broer, Lukas, wie se blote aanraking haar vel byna aan die brand laat slaan . . .?
