Koppigheid, agterdog en valse trots maak versoening tussen hulle byna onmoontlik. In eensaamheid sit albei en hunker na mekaar. Nadat hulle mekaar lank gekasty en groot leed berokken het, is dit Reinard wat met ‘n slim stukkie lis ‘n kentering bewerkstellig.
